The Denver Climate Project street team is heading to the Lavender Festival to connect with Denverites where they already gather. In partnership with the City of Denver's Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency and Sukle, our brand ambassadors will be on site engaging festivalgoers in friendly, approachable conversations about climate action in Denver, sharing information about city programs and resources, and inviting attendees to get involved. The goal is simple: meet people in a relaxed community setting, spark awareness of what the city is doing on climate, and show residents the practical ways they can be part of the effort.

Let the person know that you will be giving them hand signals for when to record and stop.
Tell the person that if they finish recording before the 6 seconds are over, they need to just stand still/not walk away/not say anything else until the street team member gives the signal that everything is ok.
Don't count down verbally before the start of the video recording. Use your fingers to count down 3, 2, 1 (along with the countdown on screen) and then point at the individual to let them know the recording has started. Make sure the video has started recording before pointing at the individual to start saying the phrase.
When the individual is done with saying the phrase, don't say anything until after the recording is finished. Give the person a thumbs up or ok sign when you're sure the recording has stopped. Then thank the participant.
It is mandatory that you review all videos prior to submitting to catch these before the office does.
Failure to comply will result in the video being deleted and a deduction from your daily total.
All videos are reviewed by 5615 Marketing and the Client.
Logistics: Pickup & Returns
Pickup and returns of the iPads and uniforms are the responsibility of the lead brand ambassador for each event. If you are the lead, this is on you. Plan one trip to Saltbox to grab everything the team needs before the event, and make sure it all gets back afterward.
Pickup location: Saltbox Denver, 4800 Dahlia St, Denver, CO 80216. This is where the lead grabs both the iPads and the uniforms.
Building access: Call Shanna Cronin at 720.443.9793 to get let into the building. Call ahead so she can plan ahead and provide you access to the building.
iPads
Grab them charged. iPads are charged at Saltbox, so they should be ready to go at pickup. Confirm each one is fully charged before you leave.
Keep them safe. The lead is responsible for the iPads during the shift and for getting them back to Saltbox afterward.
Return them the right way. When you bring iPads back, plug each one in to charge and place it in its correct slot. Do not just set them down. They need to be charging and organized for the next team.
Problems? If an iPad, app, or login is not working, call your manager right away. Do not try to work the event without it.Uniforms
One set per person. Each team member gets one shirt and one hat only, picked up from Saltbox with the iPads.Return for washing. If a team member is not working another event soon, their shirt comes back to Saltbox so it can be washed and reassigned.Working multiple events? They can hold onto it, but it needs to be washed and ready to go for the next one.Either way, it comes back. The shirts always make it back to Saltbox when events are done, and the lead makes sure that happens.
